Use labels that explain the destination
Choose a small set of familiar labels and keep them consistent. A link should make sense in context and point to what its text promises. Avoid using the same vague label for several unrelated destinations.
Keep focus visible
Move through the page with the keyboard. Each interactive element needs a visible focus state and a sensible place in the order. A menu that opens should also be easy to close, without trapping the visitor.
Let the layout adapt
Allow navigation labels to wrap or use a deliberate mobile pattern. Do not hide essential links simply to make the header fit. Check the page at increased text size and make sure a fixed header does not obscure the destination.
