Start with the buying question
For a broad product catalogue, navigation is part of the product experience. Separate product type from brand and technical attributes. A shopper looking for headphones should reach the category without knowing your internal stock labels or choosing between several overlapping menus.
Give product cards a stable rhythm
Use consistent image proportions, concise names and a predictable place for the price. Keep badges rare and meaningful. Compare a short product name with a long one at mobile width: the card still needs enough room for the information that helps someone choose.
Make filters explain themselves
Use labels people recognize, display the active filters and provide an obvious reset. Let someone narrow a category without losing their place. Test the empty-results state as carefully as the fully stocked grid, and describe the next useful action.
