Show what a customer would receive
A digital product needs a precise description of its contents. List file formats, required software and the scope of the package. Distinguish a preview image from the files included. If you are designing a catalogue, reserve visible space for these details from the beginning.
Explain licensing before checkout
Leave room for the actual publisher's license terms, support scope and update policy. Do not let a visual badge stand in for a readable explanation. Keep product requirements close to the purchase decision so visitors do not have to search a separate help page.
Design a trustworthy preview
Use a consistent preview frame and provide enough detail to assess the work. A template preview should show a realistic amount of content, not just a beautiful empty screen. Include both a narrow layout and a detail view where the typography can be judged.
