Define the listing fields
Choose the facts a visitor needs to compare results. Separate required information from optional detail. A consistent model makes cards, filters and detail pages easier to understand together.
Keep search choices visible
Show active filters and offer a clear reset. Avoid presenting an empty list with no explanation of how to broaden the search. The list should remain usable independently of a map.
Plan how information stays current
A directory is only as useful as its information. Give the site owner a way to review and correct it. Design the public page to show uncertainty honestly rather than filling missing fields with guesses.
