Choose a stable image proportion and a short excerpt length. Let titles wrap without forcing every card into a fragile fixed height. A missing image should have a considered treatment.
Keep the reading order clear
The visual order and document order should tell the same story. Use clear labels for categories and dates where they help the reader. Pagination needs a visible current state and a useful route back to the beginning.
